Blues, psychedelia, acid rock, folk: Black Mountain from Vancouver sound like all of these and have created a sound that has been setting standards for twenty years. They opened for Coldplay on their arena tour, and the Canadian Polaris Prize, one of the country's most prestigious music awards, went to their album "Wilderness Heart" in 2010. With 17-minute epics like "Bright Lights" and a flair for psychedelic darkness, they have played their way deep into the hearts of the underground scene.
