US singer-songwriter legend Amy Rigby is releasing her new album "Hang In There With Me" on August 30, 2024. The eleven new songs, written by Amy and recorded by Wreckless Eric at the couple's home in rural upstate New York, provide a captivating insight into her life over the past few years. Mortality, age and youthful missteps are reflected in Amy's insightful lyrics, not wistfully, but rather resolutely and triumphantly. Rigby's distinctive voice covers themes of love, loss and failed DIY projects in a very direct way - with sometimes twisted, sometimes shimmering guitars, catchy bass lines, a variety of synthesizers, keyboards, beatboxing and occasionally accompanied by a drummer that Amy and Eric have invited into their rustic, mid-century echo chamber.
