Six years after his last album, Una Lunghissima Ombra is far more than just Andrea Laszlo De Simone's new work. The project combines music, literature, cinema and painting to create a Gesamtkunstwerk - an interplay of album and visual poem, consisting of "cinematic paintings" in which fragments of (hyper)reality, nature and urban landscapes appear. A contemplative, almost psychedelic sequence of epiphanies - between fire and fog, reflections that become images and awaken. The film now appears with songs, parallel to the album - as a semantic and sensory extension. Romantic inspiration, contemporary approach.
