Anke Buchmann

In the artist's words:

Anke Buchmann is an artist based in Berlin. Her work encompasses ceramic objects, performance, painting and embodied experiences through clay. Her overall interest lies in examining the different dimensions of experiences that come from the artist, the audience, the process and the object.

She exhibited in solo and group shows in Berlin, London and France as part of the British Ceramic Biennial, Pangolin London, Ceramic Art London, London Design Festival, Central Saint Martins, Lethaby Gallery, Art Bermondsey Project Space,  Sugarhouse Studios, The Hub at Wellcome Collection London and Domaine de Boisbuchet, France. Anke is also a Fellow of Domaine de Boisbuchet.

In 2020 Anke founded HANDFUL, the brand under which she offers creative consulting and workshop facilitation. She is the founder of the Clay Meditation. 

In 2023 she opened up her Berlin Atelier + Showroom, where she creates, exhibits, teaches and collaborates.
