antagon theaterAKTion is an international theater ensemble founded in 1990 by Bernhard Bub in Frankfurt am Main (DE). Since the beginning of its artistic work, the group has been touring the world with "action theater" in public spaces. The aim of the theater ensemble is to create a politicized, artistic language that deals with the conflicts of our society. Antagon uses physical theater, live music and dance to create impressive images that touch people in their concrete reality and repeatedly pose the question: What can we change? The unique, multifaceted visual language of the pieces comes from a physical dramaturgy that is also based on the cultural diversity of the performers.
