Jan Boomers (* August 27, 1927 in Eindhoven; † January 1 , 1999 in Solingen) was a German painter, graphic artist and etcher.

As a result of his versatility, Boomers left behind a varied and extensive oeuvre. On the one hand there are colorful paintings, sometimes surreal or mysterious, on the other confusing or exciting etchings and drawings. The black framing line of monochrome-colored surfaces often appears to be personally style-defining.
