The pictures

In addition to the project launched in 2016 with Cologne district paintings, which also left plenty of room for color movements and coincidences, since 2024

abstract painting has come to the fore again with a Japanese influence.

The background of a painting or the painting itself is created without striving for profit, aimlessly and without intention. Or to put it another way: in mushotoku.

This is the quintessence of Zen Buddhism and was a great guiding principle for my martial art of Shotokan karate.

But I am not that wise in the final analysis. Because I want to give a purpose to what I create and so I sometimes define the space using objects of various kinds or writings on the subject of love and peace.

Art is movement - everything is a big experiment.
