Aze

In the artist's words:

Separately they are Beyza & Ezgi, together they are Aze. Since 2020, the two have been giving us a nonchalant insight into their deepest inner selves with their sound mix of RnB, indie, pop and nuances of oriental music as well as their charmingly playful lyrics. At the end of 2020, Aze released their single "Call Me Back", which already has over 1 million streams on Spotify alone. This was followed by the release of their debut EP "Dead Heat", on which Aze present their first year of musical self-discovery.

In June 2022, Aze released their debut "Hotline Aze" - a concept album in the form of a psychopharmacological cocktail of RnB, indie pop and dream rock, which can be activated by calling the hotline +43 664 99 82 13 33. The band's nihilistic, fun-loving approach seems to have struck a chord: the attention of both the local scene and international players is not long in coming. Aze have played at renowned festivals such as popfest Vienna, Acoustic Lakeside, Szene Openair and Reeperbahnfestival, and in January 2023 they have been invited to Europe's biggest showcase, Eurosonic Noorderslag. Their songs are played up and down the airwaves by radio stations all over the world: France's Radio FIP kept Aze hot on rotation all summer long; these heatwaves have even spilled over to the UK, where Aze received xtra plays on BBC1 - just to name a few highlights outside our language area. Aze are ready to go places way beyond - join the ride.
