In the artist's words:

Barberpapas - four young singers with a passion for a cappella barbershop. The concert program, which ranges from musical and pop songs to classical arrangements and original compositions, impresses with its diversity, closeness to the audience and lively performance: with humour and ease, they transform every concert evening into an unforgettable sound experience.

The sound of the all-male ensemble is characterized above all by the trained voices of the four young singers, who met in the Landesjugendchor NRW and are active internationally as soloists and choral singers. Since its foundation in June 2016, the Barberpapas have been rehearsing at various locations in Germany.

The award-winning ensemble's concert activities span the whole of Germany and include their own programs, workshops and participation in vocal festivals. They have won several silver and gold medals in national barbershop competitions.

Music education work is particularly important to the Barberpapas: the ensemble has been involved in youth work for several years and organizes the annual A CAPPELLA JUGENDCAMP for BinG! (Barbershop in Germany e. V.). In workshops, they pursue the goal of introducing barbershop and ensemble music to more and more people (e.g. as part of the Federal Congress of Music Education, the School Music Exchange and Chor.com).
