In the artist's words:

Bea Brücker (born in Hamburg) is a biodesigner and artist working across fashion, sculpture, film, and installation. Her practice combines living organisms, digital media, and performance to critically explore the relationship between humans, nature, and capitalism in the face of ecological crisis. Using algae, bacteria, and mycelium, she develops new compostable biomaterials and envisions post-capitalist futures in which humans and nature exist in symbiosis. After completing her Master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London (2021), she taught on the MA Fashion program's Bio platform and now teaches in Germany and the UK. She regularly engages in interdisciplinary collaborations with research institutions, theater and film productions, and within the arts. Her work has been shown internationally, including at the Future Forum in New York, the Tsinghua International Conference on Art & Design in Beijing, Fashionclash Festival in Maastricht, Berlin Fashion Week, and the Grassi Museum in Leipzig.
