And once again we can literally watch a new and very talented singer/songwriter grow. Bertie Newman, born in London and raised in Hackney, captivates his audience with his soulful indie folk sound inspired by Bon Iver, Hozier and Gregory Alan Isakov. His latest releases, especially the song "Seaside Eyes", have attracted a lot of attention and reached millions of streams. Previously, Bertie had already released the EP "Thoughts So Loud", on which he dealt with his recent ADHD diagnosis and spoke from the soul of many people of the same age. With his unmistakable style, Bertie Newman is establishing himself more and more as an up-and-coming force in the modern indie folk scene.
