In the artist's words:

The artist, who works in Cologne and Düsseldorf, is primarily concerned with social issues. It is important to her to capture the resulting emotions and mental states in her works. With a profound socio-critical perspective, she artistically questions the foundations of human existence and also the dominant position of homo sapiens in the world order. Bettina Guckler uses a variety of materials for her works, including canvas, wood, MDF boards and paper. In addition, the artist uses various techniques in her artistic work, including painting, graphics, drawing, mixed media and printing.
