A rollercoaster ride: that's how you could describe a Billie Bird concert. And it's fun! Because it has depth. They say that humor is a survival strategy: humor will be necessary to get through these stories of grief, sorrow and doubt, because Billie Bird is not afraid to go where it hurts. If you think musicians should just play - "shut up and sing" - then you're talking to the wrong person. She has a gift for creating instant warmth and connection between people, and she makes ample use of this in her show.

Her guitar accompanies a strong voice that sometimes comes from the head (hard) and sometimes from the gut (firm). She presents songs from the album "Incendies", but not only. Songs of overwhelming beauty, full of contemporary sound baths, groove, multi-layering, rich guitar picking and a voice that "haunts everyone who crosses it".
