Billy Zach

In the artist's words:

Noisy riffs, echoing reverberation chambers, crashing drums, a monotonous bass and nagging grumbling. A bit of melancholy. Billy Zach is guitar music; angry and loud, sometimes melodic and depressing. Postpunk with noise influences.
Despite unsteady developments, the project has continued to develop and the current live team consists of four members living in Hamburg.
Billy Zach would lovingly describe their gloomy post-punk sound as the rough sandpaper of the large-scale pop music market - symbolizing the smoothing and at the same time more abrasive character of individual songs. In fact, contradictions are less feared than a constant stylistic device, whether musical counterpoints or lyrical paradoxes.
Billy Zach puts dark things in the light, whispers too loudly and laughs with tears in her eyes. Her music illustrates how torn and connected moments, states or relationships can be without lifting a finger. Live, it will depend on the moment.
