Blanche Biau mixes the nostalgia of 80s wave with echoing shoegaze. Her dreamy soundscapes transport listeners to a hazy, otherworldly world, while the underlying sadness in her lyrics lends the music a thoughtful depth. Their sound is perfect for anyone who wants to lose themselves in a sea of reverb and melancholy. Unattainable, potential love affairs are put off until next year, because we are too busy losing ourselves in the driving bass arpeggio.
