The Köpenick Wind Orchestra was founded in 1967 as the Köpenick Fanfare Band and was transformed into a modern wind orchestra in the 1980s. Our wind orchestra currently consists of around 40 active musicians of all ages, who enjoy a very family-like atmosphere. Due to its 50-year tradition and the diversity of its members, traditional wind music, popular music from pop, rock and pop songs, as well as film music and modern concertante wind orchestra works are equally valued and performed at concerts and performances. With the support of its professional conductor, Vicente Larrañaga, special projects such as participation in national music festivals or involvement in professional music and art installations can also be realized.
