Do the alternative clubs in your city always play the same songs? Somehow everything in your indie playlist sounds so crazy similar? Don't stress, we've got something for you:

BLŸTE ['bly:tə]

Munich is so much more than just chic and high culture! Even though the four of them look incredibly good in vintage shirts, they make "modern indie synth pop". Whether that's a genre of its own - I don't know - but it's an invitation!

Edgy spoken word vocals, attractive hooks and musical diversity ranging from punk to hip-hop to retro vibes. Music genres or not, BLŸTE defines itself through a somehow unique fusion. With roots in punk rock and metalcore, Johnny (ex-Marathonmann), Hanni (Tenside), Flo and Valle are simply fun.

Okay - completely overused: Authenticity. But it's still true. Johnny, Flo, Hanni and Valle don't take themselves too seriously and talk about what moves them: toxic masculinity in German reality TV, the monotonous soundtracks in their favorite clubs, but also that it's totally okay to have fun in difficult times. Charming, reflective and danceable.
