Braake - this is a five-piece figure who walk with sure steps up a dark side street of German pop.

They were inspired by the folk and rock of the 70s, with a bit of kraut and sand blowing behind them. Benno Bings, Till Schomburg and Gregor Zenns got to know each other in their youth on the outskirts of the city and stayed at the guitar, bass and drums. An elusive lethargy and disguised anger has remained with Braake to this day from the evening on the school roof when they put together their first song. With Camillo Kießig, a second guitar was added to the songs one day, so artfully that one would like to say elaborately. And last but not least, Julian Colin, a producer with an unmistakable feel for this special music, joined the now complete band. What speaks to us from Braake is an unobtrusively appealing stubbornness: a thread that you involuntarily find between your own fingers - spun from dry insight, casual defiance and poetic imagination. And we will say: please, thank you, welcome. Yes, of course! And: What was that again?
