Be it through the unique interpretation of rarely performed works, improvisations and special arrangements or the interplay of different artistic disciplines; the Bremen Baroque Orchestra has set itself the goal of breaking down the boundaries between light and serious music and making "early music" understandable and tangible for everyone. To this end, the ensemble has also developed its own music education program, as part of which projects have been carried out with numerous schools in and around Bremen since 2020. The BBO also established its own platform, the orchestra's streaming channel, which allows people around the world to experience the ensemble's concerts in Bremen. The channel now has almost 44,000 subscribers, and internet users have accessed the performances 10 million times to date.

The Bremen Baroque Orchestra regularly attracts renowned soloists for its concerts, which in the past have included internationally renowned artists such as Ryo Terakado, Dorothee Oberlinger, Alfredo Bernardini, François Fernandez and Dmitry Sinkovsky. In the 24/25 season, the musicians will perform with Grammy winners Miguel Siso and Celso Duarte, among others. In September 2020, the debut album BACH to the Roots! was released, which received excellent reviews from various specialist journals: 'Imaginative playing, [...] supreme virtuosity, [...] beguilingly beautiful...( Schreibwolff); "Sounds great!!! It would have to be [...] like the devil if [the BBO] didn't expose itself in the very near future as one of the most excellent specialized music ensembles, which equip their repertoire in the sense of historical performance practice, not only in Germany and Europe but worldwide. (Kultura Extra) The CD was also nominated for the International Classical Music Award 2021. The CD "TELEMANN grenzenlos", released in 2023, also received an enthusiastic response from radio stations such as Bremen Zwei, Hessischer Rundfunk (CD of the week) and Radio 100 Luxembourg (CD of the week) and was nominated for the Opus Klassik.

At the end of 2024, the album And Every Little Star was released, a collaboration with the Danish recorder player Clara Guldberg. The CD received rave reviews in specialist magazines and radio stations, which emphasized the brilliant interpretation and innovative interplay.

The orchestra enjoyed another great success in 2024 with its first tour of China. In a total of 20 concerts, the ensemble performed in renowned concert halls in various cities in China, inspiring a wide audience for baroque music.
