BURN are back.

After a long enforced break due to the pandemic, the quartet from Münster is back with impressive new material. "Falling in reverse" is the fifth studio album from the Münster-based band led by mastermind Felix Friberg, and the album title aptly describes what the listener can expect.With the sound of the 80s, the band's ten new songs in English hark back to their earlier works without getting lost in dull repetition - quite the opposite: "We spent a long time in the studio pre-producing the songs and put everything to the test together with Matthias Lohmöller, our producer," says Friberg."And the result speaks for itself: the band sounds fresher than ever and yet the listener inevitably falls for its associations with early post-punk or dark wave.Paired with a pinch of pop and plenty of melancholy, the result is an unmistakable sound that, carried by Friberg's memorable vocals, leaves a lasting impression.The album was refined by the extraordinary mix by Vincent Sorg, who once again assisted the band.Letting yourself go can be so bittersweet.
