Cansu Tanrikulu

Cansu Tanrıkulu is an internationally recognized vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and improviser based in Berlin. She collaborates with exceptional creatives and enjoys making shape-shifting music, mostly based on themes that are difficult to imagine as musical entities at first glance. She is one of the busiest young voices in the European creative music scene, leading or co-directing several international composition and performance projects.

With her elastic vocals, broad stylistic vocabulary and wide-ranging approach to melodies and text-based improvisations, Tanrıkulu has become a sought-after vocalist in countless collaborations, performing with her bands on renowned platforms in Europe and the US in addition to the projects she supports. In most of her bands she also plays synthesizer, guitar and works with electronics as part of her unique vocal language.
