In the artist's words:

The chamber choir cantamus berlin was founded in 2002. With currently 35 singers, we work on interdisciplinary concerts with a special focus on an immersive concert experience in weekly rehearsals and intensive weekends every six months. The musical spectrum ranges from the Renaissance to contemporary music. It is a particular concern of ours to also realize lesser-known works and world premieres and make them accessible to a broad audience. For example, we have taken "images of women" as our theme and performed compositions by Andrea Tarrodi, Rebekka Clarke and Gabriele Hasler, which are otherwise rarely heard. In addition, world premieres by contemporary composers are always on the program, most recently Morris Kliphuis: Attend (2024), Rati Julakidze: Mass (2023), Justin Lepany: Fauna (2022), Christoph Enzel: Salvatio (2021), among others. We are also keen to travel: recent concert tours have taken us to Rome, Tbilisi, Nantes and Helsinki.
