Carla Ahad writes songs for us about her everyday life as a young woman in Berlin. She experiments alone and with musician friends and sets a mood or inspiration to music as it comes to her mind. Carla publishes her songs under her real name and wants to be perceived as an authentic person. Her musical debut is a 'be real' project, so to speak, which she shares with us without pretense from the very beginning. Carla mostly produces her songs herself and serves them up fresh like hot rolls, without looking for a genre or imitating role models.

Carla can be categorized somewhere in the field of German indie pop, but she doesn't fit neatly into a pigeonhole. With her first releases, Carla Ahad has reached over 3 million streams and 140,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Among them are numerous real bangers, but even with melancholy themes, Carla's style always has a little light-footed danceability and a pinch of self-irony at the start.

Together with her band, some of whom she already played music with at school, she creates live versions that move the audience between danceable beats and melancholy poetry.
