Chamber Remix Cologne

In the artist's words:

In the first part of the concert, Chamber Remix Cologne presents an ensemble from the field of acoustic music. The music is designed for a chamber or small hall and is therefore chamber music in the true sense of the word. We present current programs with new music and historical music, with exotic sounds or native sounds, with many notes and with few in a small ensemble. That alone is worth a visit.

In the second part of the concert, a remix or electronic processing will be performed. The remixer has the task of creating their own music from the recorded sound material. Whatever is possible is allowed. Whether digital or analog, lounge or experimental, quick action and spontaneity are required to create a new and exciting sound in the short time available. As a further layer, these sounds can be played acoustically again.

We create a musical experience for all the senses. Do you have open senses, even for music that you haven't heard before or that you don't directly understand? We think across genres and are open to suggestions, criticism and ideas. We want to network the most diverse scenes, so you can network too. Stay a while after the concert is over and make Chamber Remix Cologne a place of encounter.

The concert series is curated and organized by Albrecht Maurer. He is a musician and conceptual designer and has been active in various musical genres for many years.
