ChorGonzola

In the artist's words:

"The finest choir on the planet with the sweetest people in the universe."

It all started in our own living room in 2021 with 4 friends and a love of singing.
We thought to ourselves: "Why not just start a choir?"
The birth of Chorgonzola was that simple and direct.
We quickly grew to 18 people and then had our first performance in 2022
in the shared flat. After that, we really got going
and now have over 50 members.

Perfection? Not so important. With Helen and Tim as choir leaders, we rehearse in a relaxed
rehearse songs in a relaxed atmosphere and vote on them together,
and then present them at our performances.
We mix indie pop, alternative and chart hits and turn them into something of our own.

Our rehearsals always take place:

Thursdays from 19:30 to 21:30
in the Filmhaus am Mediapark.

Afterwards there is often time for a beer or a soda from the kiosk next door.
In addition to regular performances, we also enjoy a barbecue with friends
or at the annual winter Christmas party.
Once or twice a year we go on a choir trip, where we spend a weekend together
a weekend of rehearsals, food and good humor.
