Chris Stussy
In the artist's words:
Chris Stussy has firmly established himself as a tastemaker, selector, producer, and label boss at the forefront of the scene, with his own sound pushing house music forward.
2020 marked a significant milestone with the launch of his label, Up The Stuss, a vinyl and digital platform for Chris and his peers to release forward-thinking, timeless club-focused productions. As the label celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2025, it has become a must-visit hub for quality tracks across the electronic music scene. Home to his “Get Together” project alongside S.A.M., as well as material from Kolter, Locklead, Burnski & Kepler, Paolo Rocco, Janeret, and more, the label reflects not only Chris’s versatility as a producer but also his growth as an A&R and label head. As a DJ, Chris draws from a wide range of influences, transitioning effortlessly from intimate clubs to major festivals. Notable appearances include sets at Awakenings and Timewarp, as well as Sunwaves and Coachella, along with standout shows at Warehouse Project, KOKO, Club Space, and beyond. His rise as an Ibiza favorite is underscored by performances at DC10, Hï, and Amnesia for events like Circoloco, Paradise, Solid Grooves, and The Martinez Brothers, alongside appearances at Hï’s renowned opening parties. Chris’s schedule continues to be packed with global tours, headline shows, and extended sets in his home city, ensuring his presence is felt worldwide. As a producer, his original material, collaborations, and remixes continue to captivate both dancers and DJs alike. While each new track demonstrates a subtle evolution, they all maintain the distinct sound that has become synonymous with his name. In 2024, Chris raised the bar with debut performances at events like Timewarp USA, another sold-out UK tour, and his highly anticipated Boiler Room debut, which garnered over 2 million views. Chris also took on some of his biggest shows yet, becoming a regular at Circoloco and playing peak-time slots at events like Awakenings, Creamfields, and more—not to mention another sold-out tour of Australia. In the studio, his productions continued to shine, with a second release on Across Boundaries alongside tracks like his #1 remix of Moby’s “Go” on CSS and his remix of Todd Terry’s “Bounce to the Beat.” His “Won’t Stop (Don’t)” EP on Up The Stuss closed out the year in style, with the title track securing another No. 1 on Beatport’s Deep House chart, all while introducing a new scholarship program to provide emerging talent with opportunities and mentoring. 2025 kicked off with one of Chris’s biggest milestones to date—the launch of USS, his own highly anticipated event series, which debuted with a sold-out show at London’s iconic Roundhouse. Focusing on stripping things back to create an immersive experience that puts music front and center, the event aims to foster a mindful atmosphere by removing distractions so attendees can experience music in a pure and focused way. This vision will continue to unfold with more USS events and a fresh wave of music from Chris in the coming months. Looking ahead, Chris is set to take his creative vision even further with the launch of his new AV show at select festivals throughout the year—including Lowlands and Creamfields—marking his first-ever performance of this kind. As he continues to push boundaries, Chris Stussy remains one of the most dynamic, influential, and essential figures in the global house scene today.
