cindy+cate is an eight-member performance collective from Braunschweig and Cologne. Since 2020, they have been developing performances in which they negotiate society and its structures. They ask questions to which there are no clear answers, locate themselves in discomfort and see the creation of art and the conception of performances as a possibility for political work. cindy+cate sees itself as a non-hierarchical association that negotiates and decides together.
