The "CCK" was founded in 1992 under the direction of Thomas Gebhardt. The chamber choir from Cologne is committed to the sound ideal of young, clear voices. With a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the present day, the choir offers coherent programs that not only convey the joy of music to the listener, but also the inner connection between the compositions and the relationship between text and music. One focus is on the repertoire of the early and high baroque in historical performance practice, with which the "CCK" has gained attention in numerous concerts in the Cologne area and beyond, both at home and abroad. The musicologically well thought-out and precisely conceived programs as well as the high quality of the interpretations have found enthusiastic audiences and critics.
