Between the lines

Typography and forms are part of Constanze Voigt's daily business. Through her many years of work as an art director, the conscious use of type, form and structure has become an integral part of her creative work. For her, letters are not only a means of communication, but also graphic elements that can generate tension, rhythm and expression.

She draws on this knowledge again and again in her free art: Typography is not understood as a strict specification, but as a play with shapes and surfaces that is reinterpreted in abstract compositions. In this way, she combines professional craftsmanship with artistic freedom - and creates works that are both orderly and surprisingly lively.
