Madrid, Paris, Cologne! And then?

Then Quique Carrica gets himself a guitar, forgets his career as the singer of a successful Spanish indie rock band and begins to enchant the streets of Cologne's Südstadt with the French chansons he brought back from Paris. He quickly finds comrades-in-arms, founds CHANSON TROTTOIR and has been conquering the stages of Cologne and Germany ever since. They have long since replaced the songs from Paris with their own chansons.

Their lyrics are often poetic and tell stories of urban life, while their melodies are both thought-provoking and dance-inducing.

CHANSON TROTTOIR's unmistakable style combines the melancholy of traditional French chansons with the energy of punk and the modern sounds of indie rock.
