A viral moment and 12 million streams with her debut single "alles verloren" and a celebrated EP to hype with "alles auf dich": Dani Lia is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after acts in new gen at the moment. Somewhere between hip-hop vibes and indie mood, the Austrian writes songs about small things that sometimes mean the world. Leaving someone or feeling alone. Not always being completely with yourself, but sometimes just being all over the place.

Growing up in a village not far from Vienna, Dani Lia grew up with the dark pop noir of Billie Eilish - somewhere between pop and rap, not ironed out, but with rough edges that stick with you. Songs that tell of life as it is and not as it would be in the best case scenario. During the coronavirus pandemic, Dani Lia began publishing song sketches on TikTok. One of them - "alles verloren" - marks the breakthrough in 2022. Dani Lia's first EP was released in April 2024 with the title "kratzer & wunden tape", in which she shows her vulnerable side and talks about the scratches and wounds she has suffered in recent years.
