There is music that hurts - and music that heals. Daniel Dah makes both - but always with a view to the future. His songs celebrate life in all its ups and downs. Daniel calls it: "UP & UP" - life is not a straight path, but a dance with detours. And sometimes that's exactly the beauty of it.

This becomes clear in tracks like Ellen tanzt: his neighbor has breast cancer - and goes dancing anyway. Or precisely because of it. Her story becomes an anthem for all those who don't let things get them down. Who don't hide what is difficult, but don't sink into it either.
