Dean & the Blue Bros

In the artist's words:

A love of blues music brought the four musicians from the Ruhr region together in the summer of 2022. The band is a union of the Welsh-born blues guitarist and singer DEAN NEWMAN, who is already very well known in the Ruhr area, and the BLUE BROS TRIO. When asked about their style, the term "BARBLUES" is probably a very apt description. In addition to blues ballads that "get under your skin...", the four guys also like to draw on other blues-related styles (country, blues rock, rockabilly, rock'n roll, folk). Their passion for playing, the many years of experience that all four musicians have gained at countless gigs and the range of instruments they use (guitar, double bass, harmonica, piano, accordion, tenor saxophone) are outstanding. Both original compositions, mostly penned by singer Dean Newman, and cover versions of well-known and lesser-known blues/country greats ensure a sensitive, unforgettable live experience.
