Alternative pop with attitude and passion
With seven albums under their belts, Dear Wolf from Krefeld have been an integral part of the German alternative pop scene since the 1990s. The four-piece band combines great melodies with powerful riffs, warm, distinctive vocals and a rousing groove - a mixture that creates intense and memorable moments live.
Through airplay on MTV and VIVA as well as support shows for greats such as Slash, Roger Taylor (Queen), Fury in the Slaughterhouse, The Bates and Selig, Dear Wolf has gained a loyal fan base and nationwide attention. Whether on festival stages such as Haldern Pop, Eier mit Speck or in renowned venues such as the Westfalenhalle Dortmund - the band impresses with musical substance and an authentic performance.
Songs such as "Summer Train", "Mary Anne" and "Lost" have long since become anthems and have earned Dear Wolf a respectable cult status in the German indie landscape. As an independent band from the Rhineland "mini-metropolis" of Krefeld, they prove that musical passion, craftsmanship and credibility also work beyond the mainstream - and have done so for decades.
