Who are your friends actually? If you have children aged 6-12, you can't avoid them: Deine Freunde. Florian Sump, Lukas Nimscheck and Markus Pauli have been delighting not only the little ones, but also their parents, with their unique blend of family entertainment, hip-hop and pop music since 2011.

The three Hamburg natives have shaken up the long-dead genre of children's music and fill the biggest halls in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Some songs from their eight studio albums have become real nursery classics in the band's 15-year history and have shaped the collective memory of German primary school children.

The band's history began in 2011 with the YouTube hit "Schokolade", which now has almost ten (10!) million views.

Rapper Florian Sump, then still a kindergarten teacher, wanted to record a song for his protégés and asked DJ and music producer Markus Pauli for help. By chance, Lukas Nimscheck visited the studio - and the song "Schokolade" was born.

Various albums and film songs - including for Pixar's "Cars 3" and an Echo nomination later, Deine Freunde are more certain than ever: children's music is the best job in the world.
