DIE SCHMIERE in Frankfurt am Main in the basement of the Carmelite Monastery (Frankfurt-Mitte) is one of the few repertoire cabarets with its own ensemble, i.e. there are different programs that are performed alternately.
There are usually 3-4 performers on stage, currently there are 6 people in the Schmiere stage ensemble and a few helping hands backstage and in front of the stage.
In addition, there are guest performances by invitation, which make the repertoire very diverse and colorful.
