The artist, who lives and works in Leipzig, studied at the HGB Leipzig under Prof. Annette Schröter. Her pictures oscillate between realism and fiction, the atmospheric paintings invite you to immerse yourself and linger. In 2023, pianist Martin Kohlstedt chose Dorothee Liebscher's painting "Einleuchten" as the cover motif for his album "Feld".
