Coming-of-age indie from the Ruhr region

Drumbeats that bubble like lemonade, guitars and nonchalant synthesizers. That's how DOTE describe their own music - and to be honest, it's pretty accurate. The band have known each other since school choir and have been making music together since 2018. What started out as an insider tip from the Ruhr region has long since become more than that. DOTE makes indie pop that refuses to be pigeonholed. And that is their great strength. Their sound is somewhere between indie, jazz, new wave and bossanova. The songs deal with feelings, growing up, mental health and the small and big moments in life: approachable, honest and with a lightness that is immediately infectious.

From "feelings" to "Flowers Forever": the DOTE discography

DOTE immediately made a strong impression with their debut album " feelings" (2023). The album is available on vinyl and CD on their official website - also as a merch bundle. In 2025, they followed it up with the EP "Flowers Forever", with driving sounds that whet the appetite for summer, new beginnings and flower meadows. Other singles such as "Song 4", "Down the Line" and "beach in january" round off a strong year.

The single with katyadotcom

One of the most beautiful moments in DOTE's discography is the collaboration with katyadotcom: "ride my bike" is a track that simply melts you away as a listener. When katyadotcom's nuanced vocals merge seamlessly with those of DOTE drummer Lukas in the second verse, we get goosebumps!
