Dottie Andersson

Influenced by her role models such as Veronica Maggio, Bon Iver, Caroline Polachek and Phoebe Bridgers, Dottie Andersson has created a sound that is characterized by a clear attitude and reflects who she really is.
Like her person, her music is a mixture of sweet melancholy, dark cheekiness and a special stubbornness with a very enchanting charisma.

It's the melodic, Swedish sense of pop, combined with electronic and indie elements, that bridges the gap between indie lovers and pop fans.

With her EP Drinking Gasoline, Andersson debuts as a solo artist and makes a strong international impression. The six songs were mixed by Jeff Fettig (Caroline Polachek, Maggie Rogers, Solange) and mastered by Joe Lambert (Sofi Tukker, Daughter, Moby). She has already played with these songs at various showcase festivals, including Eurosonic Noorderslag, the Reeperbahn Festival and the Spot Festival in Denmark. She has also attracted attention on Spotify's "Fresh Finds" in the USA and on popular playlists such as "Herbstgefühle" in the DACH region and "Indie Highlights" in Scandinavia. Swedish P3 radio presenter Emma Perciva called Dottie Andersson "a name to keep an eye on in the future."
