Doug Holliday has been one of the most accomplished singers, guitarists and songwriters in the rock'n'roll and rockabilly scene for decades. Doug Holliday's music can basically be described in three simple words: Rock - And - Roll ... The special feature of his music lies in the way he plays, writes, arranges and feels this music, which is actually quite simple but at least as ingenious. His compositions initially appear to be classical/traditional, but you soon realize that a unique overall sound is revealed in the loving arrangements. He combines 40s swing with 70s rock or 80s neo-rockabilly with 90s American country and 21st century pop rock elements. Everything is real, everything is straightforward and honest! His special, "twangy" guitar sound and his very individual and virtuoso playing style are carried by his fellow musicians at a highly professional level. Sometimes a little harder, sometimes a little quieter, sometimes down-to-earth rock or sometimes a little more modern - appealing, danceable and rousing!
