Dr. Motte is a DJ, producer, cultural activist, and a leading figure in the techno scene. In 1989, he launched the first Love Parade in Berlin, thereby championing music, peace, tolerance, and social cohesion.

To this day, Dr. Motte stands for techno as a vibrant cultural form and for the idea that electronic music can connect people across social, cultural, and national boundaries. Through rave the planet gGmbH, he is committed to protecting and promoting electronic music culture, as well as to ensuring its recognition as an important part of cultural life.

As a DJ, Dr. Motte combines musical expertise with a clear stance: electronic music is more than just entertainment. It is an expression of freedom, community, and cultural participation.
