Drug Stop is the name of the new band led by Markus "Don Marco" Naegele, who has returned to English lyrics after Fuck Yeah and Don Marco & die kleine Freiheit. Drug Stop spice up their 90s indie slacker rock with herbaceous, psychedelic ingredients, which sometimes touches on free-jazz territory with wild brass interludes (trumpet/sexophone). You could also call it post-punk. Otherwise, the five-piece band from Munich focuses entirely on the song, which, once in the ear, develops into a catchy tune. True to the motto: If you can't whistle the melody, it's not a song.
