When Duke & Dukies get rolling, there's no stopping them. French guitars

pulsate to the rhythm of life, the driving double bass sets the groove, and the whole room

the whole hall is swinging.

The spirited violin rises above it all, sometimes fervently virtuosic, sometimes gentle and

accompanied by multi-faceted vocals that go straight to the heart.

A concert by the Dukies is a journey through the world of gypsy jazz - peppered with

sparkling classics, charming excursions into related styles and original compositions,

that tell of passion, wit and lightness.
