Duo Brixel Witowski

In the artist's words:

Guitar & violin, loud & quiet, delicate & brute. Lyrical narrative music without words with influences ranging from classical, folk and jazzy elements to contemporary fingerstyle.

As is so often the case in life, you meet around corners, and sometimes you have to travel far apart to find each other: Doris and Stefan, neither of whom are full-time musicians, are at home in the south of Germany - and not far from each other. And yet their paths never crossed until they were finally introduced to each other "from afar" in the fall of 2022. They quickly found a basis for their musical journey and created new, original pieces. In the fall of 2024, they released their first 10'' art vinyl "That is not me" in collaboration with photo artist Katlen Hewel.

The duo is interested in collaborations and similarities with other artists and would like to see differences as enrichment and potential for development. The two play at vernissages or as a support act for other musicians and enjoy developing evening formats together.
