Egon Rose makes pop music the way it should be: saddest lyrics in the world meets dance music. Dance, dance, just don't sway anymore!

Sticky feelings, melted water ice, everything is in motion. An eternal stream, completely carefree - until the bass kicks in and pumps the pain back into the resounding sea. It tugs here, it tugs there, but the music plays until the low frequencies provide support again.

When Egon Rose makes music, stories are told. It's not just the lyrics that make the listener feel something: Every harmony, every delay effect, every tempo change conveys pure meaning and energy. "Dance, dance, just don't waver" is Egon Rose's formula for detaching himself from the sadness in the lyrics and producing pop music with groove and depth. The results sound new and exciting, yet always go straight to the ear and heart.

In her music, Rose deals with feelings that come from deep within and cannot be communicated in any other way. But social issues are also a recurring focus of Rose's music, because the painful balancing act between the infinite possibilities of creation and the lack of freedom of everyday life is becoming increasingly apparent in times of a shift to the right and rearmament.

This is also the case in Egon Rose's new song "Raktenabwehrsystem", which was released on September 5. There is also a music video for the track on YouTube.

Egon Rose was already making music as a child, slowly learning how to use a DAW at the age of 21 and had his first proper release in 2024 with "Das Schöne Leben". Writing in German and the thoughtful way of arranging and mixing music in particular give Rose's music its own sound. Nevertheless, musical and artistic parallels can be found with Andreas Dorau, 2raumwohung and Luis Ake, among others.
