Martin Weinreich from Cologne has released 'Points Of Entry (1989-1995)' on Hauch Records. The 15 interconnected tracks on this release are the result of an investigation of images, sounds and memories from three decades that were used as source material. The sources were taken apart, illuminated and reassembled using a variety of rigorous digital processing and editing techniques. Martin Weinreich's solo debut is an electroacoustic diary in retrospect - with entries about discoveries, confusion, vague expectations and some stubborn ghosts that have so far refused to leave. It moves in the field of tension between industrial, discourse and electronica. Weinreich is as much an intellectual as he is a master of harsh tones.
