The Pianist: Elias D'hooge

(°2000, Gent )Musician from Ghent. currently finishing his studies (master jazz piano) at the conservatory of Ghent, where he met the bassist Zjef and the drummer Tom and formed this trio. Elias is/was taught by Erik Vermeulen, Christian Mendoza, Bram De Looze, Seppe Gebruers,, Werner Meert.

the passion for (jazz) music leads his way through his life as a young 'traveler' who likes the sound of the past, present and the future.

'Creating' is a big part of himself, which results in very unique compositions and ideas.

Stages and opportunities as B-Jazz International (finals 2023) Gent Jazz 2022 (BE), De Vooruit (viernulvier) (BE), MIM (BE) N9 - Muziekclub (BE), LantarenVenster (NL), Bird (NL), Non Stop Lindy Hop (PL) ... gave him an opportunity to tell his story to the audience, together with great musicians/friends.
