In the artist's words:

My love of the written word suddenly awoke at the age of seven when my German teacher gave me an F for an essay. I no longer remember what the essay was about, but I do remember the reason for the grade: the upright teacher could not imagine under any circumstances that a seven-year-old could write a text in such polished language. So I got an F for presumed copying - which I took as an extraordinary compliment to my writing skills.

Writing became an integral part of my life along with my initial career path, until I finally made it my main occupation as a journalist and writer.

Over the years, I have written a number of books in the thriller, literary adaptation, fantasy, science fiction and non-fiction genres. You can find an overview of my work here: Bibliography. In addition, some of my short stories have appeared in various anthologies.

Among my favourite projects are experimental visualizations of my texts, realized with the means of computer animation using the development environment of video games. You can find an example here: Video reading "Event". Visualizations have now become a frequently requested part of my readings.

One of the focal points of my writing work is my book Fraktalroman, which, in addition to being an innovative way of telling stories, has also led to a new genre of literature - the fractal novel. Readings from this book always lead to special literary experiences and lively discussions.

I am a member of the Münchner Schreiberlinge e. V. (Munich Writers and Editors Association), where I am responsible for readings and events.
