The cotton candy-soft, bittersweet songs of newcomer Emma Harner from Lincoln, Nebraska are made for cozy Sunday afternoons, where you can indulge in your own thoughts and find peace. For the singer/songwriter, it all began with song covers of her great heroes, which she publishes on Instagram and TikTok. The artist's own guitar is never far away, so Emma naturally began writing her own songs - which she shared with the world for the first time last year with her debut single "When You Mean It". The vulnerable, delicate voice quickly caught on and positioned her as a newcomer to keep an eye on with her very first single.

Three more tracks have since followed, introducing Emma Harner's combination of folk and math rock inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Adrianne Lenker and Paul Simon and quickly attracting attention. "Taking My Side" is now the US-American's debut EP, which will be the first major milestone in the singer's promising career.
