Drifting psychedelia and fuzzy guitars, intricate rhythms and a light-footed vibe, the vocals are urgent and full of soul. Songs in which life sometimes tastes stale, but mostly bitter, sweet and spicy. And all this in a detailed and highly catchy sound that can easily be described as German-Turkish indie rock. And which embraces pop, jazz and psychedelia extremely cleverly and with a grand gesture.
Raw, hypnotic and always danceable, the band ENGIN from Mannheim tells of everything that life reveals. Beauty and dirt, madness and adventure, loneliness and euphoria.

The band's sound is fed by the friendship between Engin Devekiran (vocals & guitar), Jonas Stiegler (drums) and David Knevels (bass). And from Engin Devekiran's family history. "In 2020, I started to get more involved with my Turkish roots. My father came to Germany in the 1960s as a child of guest workers. My Turkish, on the other hand, has a German accent.
